Welcome to Lumi Tales. These Terms are an agreement between you and Lumi Tales ("we," "us") covering your use of the Lumi Tales app. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app. Questions: [email protected].

The Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies to your license to use the app, and is available here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ — where these Terms and the Standard EULA overlap, the stricter user protection applies.

1. What Lumi Tales is

Lumi Tales generates short, personalized bedtime stories (and optional voice narration) for children, based on a name, age, and theme you provide. It is intended for entertainment and gentle parenting. It is not medical, psychological, educational, or therapeutic advice, and should not be relied on as such.

2. Who may use it

The app is meant to be set up and operated by a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for supervising your child's use and for the details you enter.

3. Free stories, subscriptions, and Lifetime

• Your first 3 stories are free.
• After that, unlimited stories require a subscription or the Lifetime purchase:
• Weekly — US$4.99 / week, starting with a 7-day free trial.
• Yearly — US$19.99 / year, starting with a 7-day free trial.
• Lifetime — US$24.99, a one-time purchase (not a subscription).
• Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your device's account settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or in the app under Settings → Manage subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Purchases are processed by Apple; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. AI-generated content

Stories and narration are produced by third-party AI models (see our Privacy Policy). AI content can occasionally be repetitive, imperfect, or phrased unexpectedly. We do not guarantee any particular content, tone, or quality. Please review a story and use your judgment about what's right for your child. If something seems inappropriate, tell us at [email protected] so we can look into it.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the app for its intended, personal, family purpose. Don't misuse it — for example, don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and don't use it to generate content that is unlawful or harmful. We include gentle safeguards that steer heavy or unsafe topics toward cozier ones.

6. Your content

The stories are generated for your personal, non-commercial family use. We don't claim ownership of the child details you enter; as described in the Privacy Policy, they stay on your device.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the app working but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

8. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is." Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country, which always applies.

9. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
